In commemoration of Dorothy Winter, a First District PTA board member and advocate for over 50 years, and other dedicated PTA volunteers, First District PTA established this scholarship fund. This year five $500 student scholarships will be awarded. Scholarships acknowledge applicants work in the following areas:

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT, CITIZENSHIP, COMMUNITY SERVICE, EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES, LEADERSHIP, WORKING EXPERIENCE

First District encourages any student with a minimum GPA of 2.0 who has worked diligently and to the best of their abilities; who has been involved in school and community activities; or had a job or home responsibilities, to apply for this scholarship.
